Hey y'all! Sorry it's been awhile since I posted here. I've been busy trying to get the house cleaned up real good since the holidays are coming and that always takes me awhile since I don't move very fast. lol
I've been thinking about re-starting my candle business. I'll probably just start out with some tarts, 4 oz jar candles, 8 oz jar candles, 16 oz jar candles, and maybe a few molded candles. I don't want to overwhelm myself, just starting again. I'll probably be doing the clear and white based glycerin soaps as well since I have so many soap molds and people seemed to like those when I made them before.
Are you all ready for the little Trick or Treaters to show up at your place? I haven't even decorated yet! With it being so close, I don't know if I'm even going to bother now, but I will dress up again to pass out candy. That's been something I've done every year I've been able to pass out candy. The kids seem to like it. I'm not sure what I'm going to do this year though, the witch idea is kind of getting old, but it has been a good stand-by costume for me all these years. :D
Before we know it, it'll be Thanksgiving, then Christmas, and a New Year! It seems to go by faster each year, but I still love this time of year. It's always been my favorite time, even though the weather isn't as nice to me as it once was.
I'm in the middle of a manicure right now, so if you've been following my other blog, Older Ladies Like Color Too, I'll be posting it in a day or two so you can go peek at it then. :0)
What do you think about me re-starting the candle business? Would you be interested in trying them?
I hope everyone is doing well and I hope you have a wonderful evening! Take care! Huggles & love.

6 October 2012
Good afternoon my dears! I hope this day is treating you well. I'm still sounding as if I have a frog in my throat and am tiring out easily, but I do feel much better than I did.
Can y'all believe that it's October already? Pretty soon it'll be Christmas. Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? I haven't, but hopefully we'll start at least a layaway next weekend, if we have time to go shopping, that is.
Our county fair starts tomorrow. Woohoo! I love county fair time. That means fall is really here. The smell of the fair food, the animals, the crisp fall leaves, watching all the people walking around, listening to the carney's, and the ride jocks. There isn't anything else quite like it. :0) I can't wait to get my hands on some deep fried veggies, salt water taffy, and cotton candy (or floss, as some people call it). For my local friends, I know I'll definitely be there Friday and I have had someone help offer unload my scooter for me on Saturday, so I'm going to try to be there then too. :D
And now, a couple of cute photo's I've taken in the last few days. This is MoJo, the kitty we adopted last year after my dear friend, Todd, passed away unexpectedly. MoJo's name original was Morris. Todd occassionally called him MoJo, so I decided to stick with that name and to me it stands for Mo-Morris Jo=Johnston (last name), in honor of Todd. MoJo has decided he is definitely my kitty. :)
MoJo sitting in the chair we just got 3 months ago. He just started getting on the furniture a few days ago. I guess he was afraid of it at first even though Elsie (the other kitty) and Buddy (the dog) were already all over it.
Here he is on my desk, between me and the keyboard. lol He's looking at me as if he's saying "Get that camera outta my face NOW!" lol
This one was a couple of weeks ago. I'd interrupted his bath, but he was just too cute not to take the photo.
That's all for today, my dears. I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday. If you are watching the Buckeye game tonight, go BUCKS! :0) Huggles & love!

Breast Cancer Awareness
October 1, 2012
Good afternoon y'all! This is my very first blog post and I'm excited to be with y'all today. The first thing I want to cover is about October being Breast Cancer Awareness month! If you haven't yet, please do your self-exam and call to schedule your mammogram! Yes, men, this is for you as well.
This blog is going to be about a mixture of things: what it is like to live with a spinal cord stimulator implant (for those who do not know what that is, I will go into detail on this later), my kids, my grandson, my pets, and just random things in general. :0) I'm not sure how often I will be posting yet, but I will try to post at least twice a week. For those who like nail polish and nail art, I am also starting a nail polish review blog called "Older Women Like Color Too" and should be live with it very soon so keep your eyes open for it.
Thank you for stopping by to visit with me for a few minutes today. If you'd like, please leave me a brief comment to let me know you stopped by and let me know what you think of the blog so far.
Have a wonderful afternoon!
Angela
